"It is an honor to receive this award from my colleagues in the industry and specially since we have all fought so hard to be recognized for our work and commitment and have, little by little, broken the "glass ceiling," said Hudson.
The award ceremony was held during a virtual event that brought together more than 115 executives from the audiovisual industry.
"For a long time, women have had to fight for recognition in this industry, but we have shown that with our own work and merit we can achieve what we deserve," added Hudson as she received the award from Cecilia Gómez de la Torre, member of WAWA's Board of Directors.
The finalists were: Silvana D'Angelo, from Glowstar Media; Patricia Daujotas, from Channel 10-Uruguay; Patricia Jasin, from TV Azteca; Carmen Larios, from Lifetime Latin America; and Fidela Navarro from Dopamine.
