Telemundo/KSTS-TV48 and sixteen Northern California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce from the Greater Bay Area Counties have selected seven honorees to be recognized at the Tenth Annual Hispanic Business Salute on March 30, 2005 at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. This event is not only about recognizing successful entrepreneurs but is also about bringing a spirit of support and consensus to our Latino business community. "I am very proud to have worked with this year's selection committee," said Eduardo Domínguez, Vice President and General Manager of Telemundo/KSTS-TV 48. The Annual Business Salute focuses on Hispanic owned businesses and their contributions to the Latino community.

Every year Telemundo/KSTS-TV 48 and its sponsors recognize outstanding Bay Area Latino entrepreneurs by presenting a series of on-air vignettes that features each honoree, their business and the motivation behind their success. This campaign culminates with an awards dinner and ceremony to salute these leaders and the events' sponsors, McDonald's, AAA of Northern California and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The honorees for this year are:

Another key component of the Annual Salute is the presentation of scholarships to outstanding Latino students. To date, Telemundo 48 and its sponsors have awarded over $175,000 in scholarships.
