At the 13th Annual Urban Wheel Awards, Accentmarketing’s Chevy Aveo “La Solución es Simple” (“The Solution is Simple”) print ad won the 2009 Latino Print Ad of the Year.

Sergio D. Rodriguez, VP Group Creative Director at Accentmarketing’s Detroit office, and his creative team accepted the award during the prestigious ceremony that honors industry and advertisements that recognize the growing clout of multicultural consumers. An independent panel of noted journalists determines the winners. Consumers also play a role in the Urban Wheel Awards by picking their favorite diversity-oriented auto ads through online voting.

Via online voting, the public chose the Chevy Aveo print ad titled “La Solución es Simple” – an ad showcasing the Aveo's fuel efficient technology as part of Chevy’s Fuel Solutions marketing strategy.

“I am proud of how the team attacked this media opportunity. They gave it their all and once more put Accentmarketing’s creative capability on the map with their excellent effort. Thanks to Chevy for this and all the other media opportunities they provide us with, in order to reach the Hispanic consumer with impactful creative,” stated Sergio D. This ad was developed by Accentmarketing’s creative team led by Sergio D. Rodriguez, VP Group Creative Director; Yashira Franco, copywriter and Carlos Manuel Rivas, art direction. The account team is led by Jose Pagan-Ortiz, SVP Group Account Director and Sara Sumbera, Account Supervisor.
