Latino Broadcasting Company announces that as of January 1, 2001 it's popular national sports talk-show "Informadores del Deporte" will adopt the name "Hoy en el Deporte...con los Informadores".
The program is hosted by LBC Sports Director and renown Univision and Telemundo sports commentator Norberto Long. "Hoy en el Deporte" (Today in Sports) is a one-hour daily sports program, which provides in-depth coverage of each of the major US sports leagues, as well as international soccer, boxing and baseball. Due to the program's extreme popularity "Hoy en el Deporte ..con los Informadores" will also air every Sunday, as of January 7, 2001 at 7:00 p.m.(eastern time).
Mr. Longo had this to say about the name change, "The program will keep the same format that has made it a leader in sports programming on network radio.
