Radio personality Dra. Isabel, known to her legion of fans nationwide as "la Doctora Isabel, el Angel de la Radio" (Dr. Isabel, the Angel of the Airwaves), will be a guest star on a number of episodes over the next few months of the CBS daytime drama "The Bold and the Beautiful" ("Belleza y Poder") beginning on January 4th.

"Dr. Isabel is a cultural icon in Hispanic America," said Joaquin F. Blaya, CEO and Chairman of Radio Unica Communications Corp. "The compelling real-life drama on her daily radio show attracts millions of devoted listeners in the U.S. and Mexico," he added.

"Dr. Isabel's appearance is yet another opportunity for CBS to embrace its burgeoning Latin audience. We are looking forward to Dra. Isabel's daytime debut," said Lucy Johnson, Senior Vice President Daytime/Children's Programs and Special Projects.

Designed in her own image, Dr. Isabel's character on the soap is illustrated largely from her real-life persona and that of her radio show. On "The Bold and the Beautiful" she will play a psychologist who arrives to Los Angeles on vacation and comes across Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), one of the show's main characters.
