Gomez has been working with Combate Americas since February 2018, where she led the social media and digital teams to produce innovative content that has broken records in the organization’s live streaming numbers on non-linear platforms and has tripled the growth of its fan bases. She also has experience as a journalist, working for various international networks such as NTN24, Nuestra Tele, RCN Novelas, and MundoFOX. Gomez recently won an “Excellence in Journalism” Award from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) for her piece on, “The Road to The White House.” She is also a national voting member for the Television Academy in the Interactive Media Group.
In her new role, she will work closely with the Chief Content Officer, Stan Jakubowicz and Javier Gonzalez, as our in-house digital agency. Gomez will also work closely with Sanez in the overall global marketing strategy and brand positioning for Combate Americas.
Sanez has more than two decades of successfully helping organizations achieve their communications goals through brand development and integrated communications. Prior to being named Combate Americas’ Senior Vice President of Marketing, he served as the marketing strategy consultant for the organization. Sanez also consulted for various entertainment, financial and travel brands, and co-founded GoFlyMore, a travel technology firm specializing in airfare data analysis. Sanez also held various marketing leadership positions at FareCompare, iNSPIRE!, Moroch, J.Walter Thompson, Hill+Knowlton, KUVN-Univision, Ketchum and American Airlines, where he oversaw global advertising, customer communications, social media, public relations, promotions, sports and entertainment marketing. Sanez is originally from Argentina and fluent in Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
